Nickolas aka Nick

Picture
In July of 2011 we got a call from our vet begging us to take in a 2 yr old male cat whose owner brought in to euthanize. The story we got was that this cat had attacked the owner for no apparent reason and they didn't want him around their grandchild. They agreed if we took him to pay for all his vetting which covered the terrible ear mite infestation we discovered he had which would account for him being irritable. We named him Nick because we saved him in the "nick" of time.
Since then this kitty has proven to be nothing but the SWEETEST most laid back docile kitty we have.We can not believe that this cat ever attacked anyone.  Content to just sit in your lap for hours while you pet him he never misses an opportunity to get in as much petting as he can. He gets along with all the other kitties and we have never even heard him growl earning him a place in the SBC club (sweet boy club) reserved for the sweetest boys who are extremely laid back.

We are happy to have saved him from an undeserving fate just because someone didn't want him. We love him very much.
UPDATE: Nick had a large mass on his neck and so we took him to have this removed on February 20, 2014. It was his lymph node and they were able to remove it all. The biopsy said it was benign and should not come back. We are VERY happy! He is recovered and doing great!
