Love at first sight
For Alison and her husband it was love at first sight! Figgy took right up with them and made it clear he would love to be a part of their family. Already owning a feral rescue kitty trapped from a colony (Rumble) They felt he would benefit from some kitty companionship. And so Figgy Piggy aka Figgy, became a new member of the McRae family and we couldn't be happier! After some initial "getting to know you" time they 2 have finally hit it off and seem very happy together. Pictured left to right (Figgy and Rumble)

Rescued stray found a new home!

This poor coon dog was found wandering the neighborhood. After an unsuccessful search for her home we posted looking for this deserving girl a furever home. Thank you to Lisa from Murphy who stepped up to give her a wonderful indoor home! Complete with new companions a small chihuahua and a kitty. Lisa has reported she is doing well and adjusting just fine. Last night instead of sleeping in the cold she slept on a warm sofa. Thank you again Lisa! We need more caring people like you! May you have many years of wonderful companionship!

Tucker goes to Maine

Our little rescue, Tucker, went to live in Maine with his new adoptive parents. Luckily when Cynthia stopped by on her way out of town after staying in her summer rental, she decided they could add one more to their family of 2 kitties. Tucker has since transitioned and is living the life of luxury with his new companions.

CRR Helps Patches Get Much Needed Help
CRR helps hurt kitty get vetting funds

Stephanie Sawyer contacted Cat Ranch Rescue one evening this month, desperate for help with her injured kitty, Patches. She had no money to get her medical treatment and was wondering what she could do. We made her a Note on Facebook and told her how to make a Chip In to put inside the note for people to donate to the kitties care. We also told her to add some pics for people to see. Once we had this set up CRR posted repeatedly asking for any help people could give to help this kitty get the vetting she needed. By the end of the day not only had she received enough to get her to the vet the next day but also had a wonderful lady sponsor her spay and shots. Patches has since been happily relocated into the house with the rest of Stephanie's furbabies and is doing great. She was already pregnant and had one kitten. She is scheduled for her spay and shots as soon as the baby is weaned. We are so happy we could help Patches have a happy ending.

Arky gets a new home!

When contacted by our neighbors who had a freind who was moving and needed to find a home for their beloved cat, Arky, we immediately posted pics and information on him on our website in hopes of finding him a home. Ethan Hines was moving and could not take Arky with him and he was hoping to find a home quickly before the move in August. After asking around my sister in law, Tammy, found a fellow co worker , Tim Larish, who was looking for an older child friendly cat. I immediately told her we had just what he was looking for! We gave all of Arky's information to Tim and he was very excited about Arky. On July 21,2011, the two met at The Cat Ranch for the exchange. We are so glad we were able to assist in finding this beautiful deserving kitty a new home. In a time when so many are left abandoned, this truly is a happy ending!
