Scooter

Scooter became a part of our family in Septemer of 2006. She was about 8 weeks old.
Scooter came from a pet store in Jacksonville, NC that took in strays from people and sold for $25. She was the last of a litter and we got her to keep Jinxy, a feral kitten we were bringing home, company. She grew up fast and is now a beautiful girl with long legs. She loves to climb and jump on things. We call her our kangaroo.
Scooter is scared of any aggressive cat and so they tend to pick on her. She has learned to jump higher than the others so they will not come after her. She likes to hang her front legs down while she looks from her high perch on top of the kitchen cabinets. It looks so funny and I have several pictures below of her doing it. She loves for me to hold her and rub her tummy. She prefers to stay inside where she feels safe from the more rambunctious of the lot who tries to chase her when she goes outside. Even so we do make her go out every now and then to get some exercise. She tends to spend a lot of that time in the top of the weeping cherry tree!
